
Thakur Bari Mahila Vikas Kalyan Samiti
Thakur Bari Mahila Vikas Kalyan Samiti (TBMVKS) has been actively engaged in the development of weaker sections of the population in Jaunpur district for about 25 years. Supported by many development agencies, its achievement in economic empowerment of weaker sections especially women has been significant. Earlier supported by CAPART, DRDA, Government of UP, Handicrafts Board, Ministry of Textiles and Government of India, Ongoing program of Short course of skill creation(Cutting, Tailoring, Beautician, Painting ,Zari work, Embroidery etc) conducted regularly to help to identify potential issues early on & allowing manufacturers to make necessary adjustments and improvements ,self employment generation, education of adult women/girls with the help of UP Social Welfare Board, Labor Department,Tuberculosis control by setting up DMC and DOTS centers under RNTPC. Various types of village level, block level training and workshop of health workers, ASHA ANM, Gram Pradhan and VHSNC members etc, Computer training with basic computer literacy to specialized areas like programming, web development, and cybersecurity.
TBMVKS continued active participation to creating awareness for TB Free India by 2025 & by adopting and giving nutritional & Vocational support of Thousands TB patients in UP and Bihar under National Tuberculosis Elimination Program. Organizing Blood donation Camp, Eye Camp, Cancer awareness and eradication of others social elimination camp to provide a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction from helping others, cybersecurity.
It is our sincere duty to thanks our donors in the past as well as of the District Authorities, officers and leaders, who have supported in our efforts to undertake programs of poverty alleviation of the section of population, who have been bypassed by the process of development.

TBMVKS is a non-profit organization dedicated to uplifting underprivileged and vulnerable communities, with a particular focus on women and adolescent girls. Our operating model is designed to be replicable and centres around a holistic and participatory approach. They engage multiple stakeholders in dialogue and foster connections with public systems to ensure sustainability. By collaborating with the public sector and addressing domain-specific issues and challenges, they aim to create lasting positive change. Additionally, TBMVKS actively works on generating knowledge to advocate for scalability and further extend their impact .
